Dr. Donald G. Proctor- Pastor
After attending High Schools in Plainview
and Lubbock Donald (Donny) joined the Army and spent four years in the
service of his country. Thirty–nine of
those months he spent on the East-West border walls of Germany. It was there that he began to hear the call
to the ministry. After coming back to
the US he
married Debbie and they moved to Lubbock
where Donny attended Texas Tech. At
the end of his sophomore year he answered the Lord’s call into the pastoral
ministry and transferred to Wayland Baptist
University where he earned his BA
and MA. From Plainview
he moved to the East Coast to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
and later Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his
Doctorate. Bro. Donny
and Debbie with Landall and Shawn have served churches in Jayton and Muleshoe, Texas,
along with those in South Hill, Hopewell
and Brookneal, Virginia. After twenty-three years the Proctor’s are
excited to be back in Texas and
involved with the people of First Baptist Cotulla in ministry to the wonderful
people of this area.
Noe Rodriguez - Music Minister
Throughout his life, Noe has been involved in church
work. At a young age he was directing music in his church at Carrizo
Springs. While attending college, some of his studies concentrated in the
field of music. In 2005, Noe was named the most exemplary Texas Baptist
Bi-Vocational Music Minister. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree
from Howard Payne
University. Noe has
worked in the Human Service field for 23 years and is currently working as a
Program Specialist for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
in Pearsall.
Noe is married to Judy Chavera Rodriguez. They have six children: Felicia, April, Jason, Justin, Noe Jr., and Nyssa.
