Our Beliefs

It is with great joy we introduce you to the friendly First Family and its ministries. We place a strong emphasis on the following:

Missions and Evangelism are the heartbeat of our church. We believe everyone needs to be born again whether across the street or across the ocean. Our major focus is telling people about Jesus.

The Bible is God’s Word given to us as a guide and pattern for faith and practice in daily living.

The Home is a God ordained institution and we believe in working to strengthen and encourage families.

Discipleship Training is a vital part of our faith. Numerous opportunities are provided for personal growth in one’s daily walk with Christ. Relationships are the focus of all we do. Attempts are made to help people of all ages mature in their faith. With the above emphases we strive to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20,“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.
